Find out what the government's strategy is for future development of Arctic resources: what is current policy and what are the future plans? What impact will global gas markets have on future decisions? What role will LNG play in the national energy strategy? Will new legislative initiatives reduce investment risks? What is the future role of international investors in the Russian Arctic?
Four round tables will offer more informal discussions on specific topics, including: Arctic project infrastructure; environmental solutions; personnel training; and finance & insurance. Each round table will be hosted by key project operators and industry experts.
Practical Case Studies, presented by oil & gas majors active in other Arctic regions, including Norway, Canada, Alaska, and Greenland, will highlight the key challenges faced, solutions found, and achievements to date. A Case Study of lessons learned from offshore operations in Sakhalin will also offer invaluable information for Russia's future Arctic projects.
