ENERGY EFFIENCY IN RUSSIA - EXTREMELY TIMELY EVENT!Adam Smith Conferences would like to thank all speakers, sponsors and delegates for their participation in the 1st International Conference ENERGY EFFIENCY IN RUSSIA – which took place on 22-24th June 2010 in Moscow, and was very well-received by all attendees. We would like to note that given the newness of the topic the majority of the participants who gathered at this event shared the spirit of enthusiasm and “passion” for energy efficiency, which created a particularly friendly and open atmosphere! Russia’s President has affirmed that energy efficiency and energy conservation are among the 5 strategic priorities for Russia’s technological development. In line with these governmental initiatives, this topical conference served as an international platform for the exchange of practical experience and know-how gathered by companies and experts in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency. Throughout the 3 conference days, participants enjoyed informative presentations, enthusiastic discussions and high-level networking! The key focus of the event was on optimal methods for achieving energy efficiency in the ENERGY SECTOR and ENERGY-INTENSIVE INDUSTRIES. The event also included a topical Pre-conference Seminar on ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACTS/ENERGY SERVICE COMPANIES (ESCOs) 35 expert speakers presented at the conference. They represented government bodies and agencies as well as industrial companies from various sectors such as energy, machine building, the cement industry and more. All the speakers’ presentations were very well received.
