The organisers of the master class with Dr Edward de Bono would like to thank the participants partners who have contributed to the organisation and great success of the event. In the seminar Dr de Bono focused on his most famous and effective thinking techniques of developing creativity. He concentrated on: Six Thinking Hats® and  Lateral Thinking Training® frameworks and DATT® instruments.

The master class structure allowed all the participants to practically implement the techniques on various examples to generate creative ideas solving problems.

Edward de Bono

Dr. de Bono was born in Malta. He was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, holds an MA in psychology and physiology from Oxford, a D. Phil. in Medicine and also a Ph.D. from Cambridge. He has held faculty appointments at the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, London and Harvard.

He is renowned for his development of the Six Thinking Hats technique and the Direct Attention Thinking Tools. He is the originator of the concept of Lateral Thinking, which is now part of the English language and is listed in the Oxford English Dictionary.

Dr. de Bono was chosen by a group of academics as one of the 250 people who has contributed most to humanity in the whole history of the human race. The 2005 Thinkers 50, the world’s first ranking of management thinkers, ranked him at no 20.

He has written 67 books with translations into 38 languages and has been invited to lecture in 57 countries. The list of his 67 books include: Six Thinking Hats, Lateral Thinking, Serious Creativity, I Am Right-You Are Wrong, Parallel Thinking, Conflicts-A Better Way to Resolve Them, Water Logic, Simplicity, Teaching Thinking, New Thinking for the New Millennium, PO: A Device for Successful Thinking, and Future Positive.

Edward de Bono's thinking methods and thinking skills training courses are now being implemented in organisations of all sizes because of their effectiveness and their power to change thinking behaviour.
