The
Leaders in Moscow team would like to express
our gratitude to all the participants of
our latest master class in the leadership
series of events for 2008. This time we
had Dr Philip Kotler – the
world’s foremost expert on the strategic
practice of marketing presenting
his full day seminar A New Marketing
Era on 30 May in Moscow.
Over 220 senior
management from companies representing
almost all Russian industry sectors were
among the delegates attending this event.
It was the whole day filled with information,
fresh forward thinking ideas and innovative
principles of marketing how to develop
companies’ marketing strategies.
Throughout the
day Dr Kotler gave advise on how
to devise an effective corporate strategy,
accurately project company’s costs and
grow revenues using marketing vision
and know-how. He explained the importance
of the marketing department within the
company finding new ways and opportunities
and in maintaining the relationship with
the clients looking at the future prospects
rather than on the past performance of
the business.
The format of the event reminded one smooth
flow of discussion between Dr Kotler and
the actively involved audience. During
the programme Dr Kotler focused on the
main issues of making strategic marketing decisions for
driving businesses and organisations forward.
The programme consisted of four main parts:

About Dr Philip Kotler
Philip Kotler is one of the world's leading authorities
on marketing. He is the S. C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of
International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
He received his Masters degree at the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. at
MIT, both in economics.
Dr Philip Kotler is
the author of over 35 books covering all aspects of marketing including
the most widely used marketing textbook in graduate business schools worldwide, “Marketing
Management” now in its 12th edition.
